How it works
Fat Freezing, freezing fat, it is as simple as that.
Our bodies are designed to keep us warm and to keep us moving. But when we are cold there is something, we have all experienced… a cold shiver.
When the body shivers, that is our body’s way of using our stored energy (also known as fat) to warm us back up.
Fat Freezing Is very similar to this but minus the shivers.
In our fat-freezing treatment room, we have two state-of-the-art machines which both use Cryolipolysis technology. All this means is that instead of freezing two sides of the area (like some fat freezing machines do), our machines freeze the entire area in the treatment head.
The Machine is connected to a fat-freezing handpiece that looks like a mini vacuum. This handpiece is where the magic happens. During your consultation, we discuss the areas you wish to treat.
Before the treatment begins, we place an anti-freeze sheet over the area (to protect your skin from the cold) before the cooling vacuum works its magic.
The Fat Freezing handpiece creates a vacuum effect. The treatment area is then drawn up into the handpiece. This method localizes the treatment area which guarantees results where you want to see them, this is why this method of fat freezing is what we are known for.
The technology

Lipo = Fat
Lysis = To Break
Once the treatment area has been drawn into the suction cup the fat freezing magic begins. This cold technology takes the temperature of the fat cells down to around -9 degrees and is used to achieve the crystallization of fat cells.
The feeling you will experience at this point during the treatment is numbness in the area. Once the vacuum Is removed, we then massage the treated area to break down the crystallized fat cells. This breaks the fat cells down even further to make it easier for the body to naturally process.
After your treatment, Fat Freezing does not require any period of recovery, you can go about your daily life as normal straight away.
Aftercare
Aftercare with fat freezing is quite straightforward. We advise all of our fat-freezing clients to maintain a healthy lifestyle and drink at least 2 litres of water per day.
Why? It’s simple, first of all, drinking at least 2 litres of water per day should be standard anyway, but this is how you can help your body flush out the destroyed fat cell.
As for the healthy lifestyle part, if you leave our clinic and then go back to eating and drinking the same food you always did, there is a high chance that your body will create more fat cells and undo all of the work that the fat freezing machine did.
When will I see the results?
Fat Freezing is clinically proven to reduce up to 40% of your desired treatment area. The results from your treatment start to be visible from around 8-12 weeks (however this is client-dependent and on how well you follow the aftercare). Results will continue to develop over 6 months.
